You cant adjust the aim with VAG COM, but you do have to set into an adjustment mode before you can set them.

Headlight control is address word 55, if you cant get into it there is either a fault with your VAG COM or the control unit and/or its power supply.

Since it's unknown which car we are talking about here, you may also try address 29/39 which were used by older models instead of the address 55.

Sorry, its a 2002 octavia vrs.

Tried 29/39 aswell, but cant find any way of adjusting the aim, even with adaptation.

Ok, let's start from the beginning...

...when trying 29/39/55 do you get a response by any of the addresses?

I tried 29/39, but cant find anyway to adjust the aim.
As I said in my first reply, you cant adjust the aim with VAG COM. You can only set it into basic settings then you adjust the level normally using a beam setter.

For the Octavia 55 is used in service for setting the headlights.

55 will set both lights, I have never used the other address words on a Skoda.

If you do have a system that uses seperate addresses, then the adjustment is being made using the master, which is 29. Please post an Auto-Scan from that car, I'd like to take a look at what you get.

Yep, that's exactly what I was looking for. So based on that you have to use Address 29, which is the master. In general you either have 29 AND 39 or you have 55, never all 3.

If possible send me a complete Auto-Scan via email too.

29 is always the master, so this is a general rule.
