I think it should have been about ?80 which is silly money, but when I collected it the parts an said sales had paid for it and nothing to pay. I can't see it mentioned on the invoice so I am keeping quiet.

There is a thinner clear sheet of plastic one which was an extra I asked to be fitted by the dealer, but they messed it up as they left loads of bubbles in it, so I reckon it must be sticky back plastic.

This one has a sticky bad running down the short sides and a long pad along the side furthest away from the door.

I washed all the muck off the bumper area with water and then with a foam cleaner that cleans dirt and grease, rubbed everything over with paper towels until squeaky clean and dry.

I peeled off the short edges and a little of the long edge, tilted it to about 45 degrees, slipped it under the rubber seal of the hatchdoor, positioned it left/right until the moulded turn-ups fitted the curve perfectly, stuck the sides down and then peeled off the remaining long side tape.

Then lots of pressure using a towel to make sure it all stuck.

I even impressed myself.
