| OK, the other thread can now be locked. This is the NEW thread for the Briskoda stand at GTI International this year. The venue is Bruntingthorpe airfield, which is a very good central location for Briskoda, being in Leicestershire, Midlands, with good connections to the M1. Info can be found at: http://www.gtiinternational.co.uk/ and click on 2007. You can view the online booking form, or as I would prefer given the way payment is asked for, ring them on 01525 750 500 to sort out payment and ensure you mention "BRISKODA.net" when booking. The weekend costs are broken down as follows: Weekend Ticket: £25 per person Saturday or Sunday day ticket: £14 per person This gets yourself and the motor in which you're in, into Bruntingthorpe. There will be camping, but I suspect it will be off site. This can be clarified at a later date, but I will be camping for definite. ![]() There will be 1/4 mile sprint competitions and free entry into the show and shine. The list from the old thread of people wanting to go was 1) Jason, devonutopia - Weekend 2.) Des, Delcac - Can I have the 1.4 class or is that a contradiction in terms. 3.) dsmithmobile 4.) Baker21 5.) Wardy (if a. I'm available and b. you want a Seat on the stand ) 6.) vRS_Si (Happy to do Saturday if Jon wants to do Sunday) 7.) Jon TDI - Sunday only 8.)ItsOnlyMe_vRS weekend 9.) bryand - both days, commuting home in the evening 10) Makefish - probably both days, deffo up for the camping mullarky. 11) Stu However, this is a new thread, so please add your name once you have phoned up Autometrix (ask for "SHANE" if need be as he's been emailing me) Feel free to ask any questions in this thread too and I will see what I can find out. It's going to be an excellent weekend, and I think we should show the GTI/Dub boys that the Skodas can be out in force too. LIST OF CURRENT ATTENDEES FROM BRISKODA (copy/paste to add yourself) 1) JASON. 2) Stu & Chrissi (Travel Lodge Liecester Central) 3) 51OctyTDi (Jon) - Sunday only 4) Si & Niki - Saturday only 5) Baker21 + 1 - Sunday only 6) Mr Fish - Sunday only 7) Jon TDI - Sunday only

| 1) JASON. I'm booked. ![]() For note, your card will not be debited until beginning of May - So for now, the above phone number gets you through to their ordering system. Club stand passes will follow, and may be all sent to me nearer the time and I will need to distribute them closer to June. We'll see about that. For now, the number above gets you reserved for a ticket.

| 1) JASON. 2) Stu & Chrissi (Travel Lodge Liecester Central) Sidenote - If you don't fancy camping and prefer slightly more luxury there are cheap rooms at Leicester Central Travel Lodge (£26 for Family Room) for a short period. Briskoda is on the drop down list for club bookings online.

| Camping apparently has not been fully arranged yet, as GTI international usually sub contract this out to someone else for the show, and last year's company isn't doing it this year (perhaps due to location move) - so camping is still up in the air, however there's lots of nice hotels around the area, and if camping falls through I have a comfy bed at one of my relations in a nearby village. ![]()

| It's the start of my girlfriend's final degree show that weekend, so I can only do Sunday. If lots of people are staying in Hotels in the area, how about a (short) run down from Leicester on Sunday morning? 1) JASON. 2) Stu & Chrissi (Travel Lodge Liecester Central) 3) 51OctyTDi (Jon) - Sunday only J PS: Is it me, or is that form broken? The 'Submit' button has a link around it, which goes to a page that doesn't exist! Last edited by VRStu; 02-04-2007 at 18:50. Reason: Added hotel info |

| I do recommend phoning them up. I just don't trust the online page, even though I was assured it was secure. Use the phone number in post #1. Please only add your name once you are 100% certain, and add whether it's weekend or one day or tuther.

| There will be a Briskoda Club stand so all club members are welcome, the stand will be restricted to Skoda though.

| I do hope we have a good presence on both days. ![]() Even if we have no stand bunting/banners, we should try to at least fill it up with lots of skodas. ![]() Don't forget there will be 1/4 mile action, etc. Oh, and check out the number of clubs already down to go. | Sounds good and I'd like to support the cause. I note the Skoda only clause for the stand, and obviously fully understand this. I'd turn up in a VAG of some description , so am I best just sorting tickets through the most relevant club in attendance - probably UK-Mkivs?Sorry if this sounds like a daft question, but this is the car forum I frequent the most ![]() Steve EDIT: saying that, I still need to clear this with SWMBO, so nothing's for certain at the moment!!

| Me and willy whatever number he is, will be there. Can't put my car on stand though, would let the side down a bit, looks great from a distance but the 110k have chipped the paint to buggery. |
