Dosky meet and join up with that.As it stands the route (exc. UK and Cz) is approx 2767 miles. I am budgetting on accomodation in the region of £400 pp (hopefully will be cheaper but we will be staying in Cannes on a Saturday night ), road and bridge/tunnel tolls £200, + spend + meals. So for 2 people in a petrol Vrs bank on approx £1300 per person. The trip will consist of early starts and many hours of hard driving on some of the finest and most challenging roads in the world, for this reason it is soley a driving holiday and no side trips/excursions are planned with no free time during the days other than photo opppurtunities and rest stops. If there are many people interested then unfortunately there will be a maximun number of places available due to restraints of accomodation probably 8 to 10 cars in total. I will not require a minimum number to organise this trip as I want to do it myself in anycase Again this is only a feeler thread at the moment but would like to give interested parties the oppurtunity to start saving, and envisage having to start looking to book accomodation early in the new year, at which point a non-refundable deposit will be required. Please Note: If there is any difficulty in finding suitable accomadation the Overnight stopover destinatons are not set in stone. If any of the routes mentioned are impassable due to inclement weather/ road closures alternatives are available but may not be quite as scenic (tunnels etc )This trip is not organised by BRISKODA and is not an Official BRISKODA event usual disclaimers etc apply. I welcome any comments suggestions but would point out that adding extra roads/ routes could go on for ever and imo think what we have should provide an entertaining and worthwhile experiance. If you are seriously interested and will be able to do this please add your names to give me some idea. Individuals will be responsable for arranging their own medical/health/travel insurance....a must in the countries we are visiting, also recovery cover for their own vehicles in the case of breakdown or accident, suitable vehicle insurance and meeting the laws of the country being travelled through. Whilst i will provide a route for each day and endevour to have everyone stay together it will be the responsability of the individual to make it to the evenings accomodation, sat nav with european maps is reccomended, at the very least a good map (neither of which is provided )Andrew

| Inteterested yes; £1300 will have to see when the car insurance comes out.

| Interested. Will book that time off work after new year, so any changes of dates I would appreciate very advanced warning as the holiday sheet fills up mighty fast!

| It was my body's coping mechanism Pat - 3600 miles for us northerners, in 9 days, in a Skoda. Gonna have to say it seems a bit much tbh. Gumball/Canonball is 3000 miles, usually done in a very high powered fast car, in Stuart's case a very fast Skoda. Id be interested in his input in the milage and route before I commit if I'm honest, as I think a convoy of cars doing so much distance in so little time might not be as easy as you imagine. Just my 2p's worth. And Im quite often mistaken lol. PS Thanks Len, but I'm kidding. As Loz says, something I would have to drive myself.

| I have to agree with Shifty... it sounds an awful lot, although I haven't mapped it out yet. I like driving, especially on interesting roads, but I think that would be too much for me without enough rest days. And the slog to Dover as well ![]()
