| Re: Black Wheels Those wheels cost £115 for all four, but I delivered them to BJV without tyres. They do remove tyres and courier wheels, at an extra cost. I'm considering getting my 18" vrs wheels done in satin black, the same as I had those done. Google BJV engineering to find them. |

| Re: Black Wheels How about these in metallic anthracite;- ![]() I used BJV engineering just before Christmas; 17" Pegasus wheels (I bought then with some bad scratches) £29.50 + VAT each. They did the job in a couple of days as well. I'm well pleased with the results, although found the centre bore slightly tight on the wheel hubs due to the thickness of paint, I guess. Here's their website;- BJV Engineering - Alloy Wheel Refurbishing

| Re: Black Wheels My best friend had his Subaru Impreza wheels powder coated in gloss black and although the finish is amazing the gloss looks strange against the mat tyres, even after dressing the tyres. Thought I would mention as a word of warning. |

| Re: Black Wheels It's a shame BJV is nowhere near me (Leeds). Everywhere I can find wants close to £200 for a set of 4 13" alloys, £98 is a much more acceptable price and would consider getting them done tomorrow at that price. I have some leaky rims that would cost £15 to get repaired anyway and would rather have them refurbished. If only there was more competition in wheel refurbishment then prices would be lower. Just found a place I haven't come across before in Leeds MSS Blast Cleaning Services according to a Lotus forum they charged £150 a full set about 8 months ago so sounds worth investigating, and looks like they do a decent job if they follow that process. | Re: Black Wheels iv been looking on e-bay and seen that it is probberbly cheaper to sell original wheels buy another set of 18" (rs4 gunmetal ones) and put on tyres. as been getting quotes of £280 for a set of four whhels to be done properly (tyres off, dipped in acid etc) but can be done for £200 but just as face paint. Hmmmm, what to do?

If you are going for black/anthracite wheels you need to have a light coloured car i.e. Silver, Red, Yellow.

![]() Go for Team Dynamics Pro Race - they are available in Black and are really light (benefit of reduced unsprung weight). What about Skoda's B14 accessory wheels; 18" x 8J at £170 inc VAT each? Can be found on their website. Glorious 'black chrome' finish and nice offset.
