Brace yourselves...

Had my vRS fitted with the S3 lower front brace as well as the R32 front ARB, and have to say I'm chuffed to bits with the result

The improved stiffness is really nice - and is certainly obvious through the twisties. Car now feels a lot more "planted", and I think turn-in is improved too.

Thanks to all the folks on here who provided help and advice on the parts and fitment

Re: Brace yourselves...

Have you any picks of the s3 bar fitted??
Tried to get mine fitted for ever and no one seems to know where and how it fits, and if they know where it goes theres no way to fasten it on as no way to place nuts on to hold bolts in place.

Re: Brace yourselves...

do you have any pics or details of this modification? (prices of parts?) it seems very beneficial for a fairly straightforward job!?

There's some existing holes - it should just bolt on. Did you get the Audi bolts and nuts when you bought the brace? They're special nuts which compress when tightened (can't remember the proper term).

I'm at work now but I should be able to post a pic when I get home.

Re: Brace yourselves...

Links - use this for part numbers (thanks to Nick) as they're definitely correct. You don't need to order the washers (they don't fit the bolts !)

As for pics, I recommend this link:
