  1. I know it's pretty late in the day. But I follow this bloke on Facebook. Hes got an offer on at the min. I've never used him so can't speak to his work. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=752023301911457&id=312793989167726&fs=0&focus_composer=0
  2. Cheers for all your input. I went with the doublewax, if I can get pics working ill post a photo up.
  3. Well the 12mth quoted durability made me angle towards 476, but very tempted by double wax due to the gloss/slickness
  4. I have actually, but the durability didn't seem to be as good as those above. I remember it getting a lot of love a few years back
  5. Hi All, After a long while away from the site, i'm looking to get a wax for the car. I ditched the silver fabia for a dark blue (non metallic) Captur. A few weeks back I spent many an hour cleaning an prepping the paintwork for a coat of Gtechniq C2v3, which it has worn for about a month now. I think its still beading fine (althought not as well as i remember it did on the Fabia). But I was looking for somthing to make it shine a little more. I dont often get round to cleaning as much as I would like, so I am after durabilty also. Therefore from my limited research (and budget) I was considering; Collinite 476 Bilt Hamber - Double Speed Wax fk1000p - (I already own some) The the question is, what would you guys goes for, taking into account the above 2 factors? and as a secondary question. I have some Power Maxed -Ultra Finishing polish - I was thinking of adding this over the C2v3, before I use the wax (as i dont have the time nor much C2v3 left to reapply) - if this good/bad/meh idea?
  6. Vrs alloys gone. Bora ones remain. Not actual pic but they are this style, but centre caps have been debadged and sprayed.
  7. Pics of pipe and couplers added above.
  8. Taking pipe off Tomoz so will upload you a pic of that. I've never fitted the catch can so just need to locate it in the garage
  9. All for a mk1 fabia I have for sale; Top boost pipe with milled couplers, mandrel pipe and silicone joints. £90 Saikoumichi catch can - without level. £70 3m fuel/oil line for use with the catch can so 19mm ID I think. £10 KN filter with cleaning and recharge kit. £20 Gearbox shim / cover (just need to confirm price on this) still in bags from dealers Jvc touchscreen double din - with bluetooth, USB, CD player and the facia needed when fitted. Stereo is a bit older and sometimes temperamental, but works well. £70 Battery fuse cover - £10 Ibiza FR seats from a 3 door. Rears fine, but fronts need work as airbags had gone off. Have been in garage so will check they are still in decent condition, so let me know if interested. Will confirm price. Also taken off the car, rubber oem boot mat (£15), Chrome pedal covers fit all models I think a little worn (£10), and full set of vrs mats, the fronts were new a few years back but the drivers side has a rip in it . (£30). Also have the original fronts (£10) I've got some other standard bits such as a couple of head lights (probably with broken lugs or without bulb covers -be good for practicing DIY refurbs), rear calipers and front calipers, rear shocks and springs all very well used so if you collect and you want you can have for nowt. All prices before posting, collection from Sheffield - S12. Pics to follow. Cheers, Kyle
  10. 1 set bora alloys with a set of winters 205/55/16 all tyres decent to my memory. I'll say £50 collected (prev 70) but make me an offer. Can't really arrange for delivery due to the size. I'll get pics on asap. Collection from Sheffield -S12 Cheers, Kyle
  11. The MAP I believe is attached to the intercooler, if not its def not on top of the engine. The Maf is on the pipe coming from the airbox. You mentioned that unplugging the MAF didn't change anything? Question for the wider audience, doesn't that mean the MAF is knackered? If it got worse then it would mean it was fine???
  12. How rough is rough? I used to have an issue where it was fine when cold but as soon as it hit 90 degrees it was misfiring/no power. This was an injector loom issue but I DID get warning lights on the dash. Have you scanned it? If you can, you can also record maf values etc and post them on here. Someone with more knowledge than me will be able to tell you if they are correct or not.
