  1. I’ve just put some after market 19’s on mine 8.5J wide ET46 which is pretty much perfect centre bore for Octavia is 57.1 but my new alloys are 60 odd I think, but reduced to 57.1 with spigot rings. I believe some people have got 9J width but it all depends on offset. Stick with 8.5J and offset in mid 40’s and you’ll be fine Have a play with different sizes on willtheyfit.com
  2. Just on my 5 miles to work I get about 32mpg if I go on a run I can see approaching 40 Not too dissimilar to what I was getting in the Fabia. Done some nice mods to the Octy now. 19” BBS Alloys with Rainsport 3’s, Lowered on H&R springs, black grill and black badges, LED number plate lights off an Audi, all interior LED’s etc. Holding off on the power upgrades for now (but it’s hard to resist as £400 gets you to 300bhp)
  3. Join Yorkshire Skoda’s on Facebook and also Sheffield Dubs Always having local meets (unlike Briskoda unfortunately)
  4. @JulieD Bought some alloys/tyres off me Excellent buyer, paid instantly and a pleasure to deal with Thanks again Regards Damian
  5. Revo and APR get good reviews. Shark are good, less power but smooth delivery. Had Revo and Shark on previous cars and both were very good. Is your car manual or DSG? If manual, your clutch will need uprating at some stage, but if your careful (and don’t boot it in a high gear from low revs a lot) you might last a fair few thousand miles. Also don’t rule out some of the smaller tuner companies as well... a lot of them are getting good reviews (not back street lap top merchants by the way) Know a few near me who have had remaps done by JBS at Chesterfield who do Custom Code with great results as well. Lots of great companies out there, so don’t be blinkered, but unfortunately there’s also a fair few charlatans as well.
  6. Not heard this before either. Look at it like this... if it goes, then ideal time for a big turbo upgrade
  7. Thanks for the interest @Rustynuts but they are now sold. Cheers
  8. Back up for sale due to purchase of new alloys Ideal upgrade for non vrs owners or perfect winter set for those with summer wheels. (the cross climates are brilliant in snow and a great performer all year round)
  9. I got these and they’re brilliant Quality is not far off Original ones fit nice and tight as well... perfect
  10. Have you thought about clear vinyl wrapping on the vulnerable areas? A lot of cars are having bonnet bumper and front wings done these days.
  11. Picked my new one up today. Snapped the chrome one off and fitted in less than 10 mins Very happy
  12. Got one from my local dealer, with Briskoda discount for £42.50 Pick it up Saturday Then, it’s be brave and break the chrome one off!
  13. £52 delivered as opposed to £40 for the wrap. could be cheaper if anyone knows a discount code for Hortons Skoda Shop?
