Hi. There are plenty of options you can play music from USB and memory card with slot of aftermarket stereos. You can have a chat with nearest car audio centre and see what stereo you can have fitted. You don't necessarily have to go for kenwood like everybody else there are some units you can have that are better like pioneer double din with apple car play and android compatible if you wanted to play music via mobile it can make it easier without the use of USB but they also have that option to if you need it. Hope the info is useful to you. Regards Gaz

Hi Kevin, Can you please PM me a picture of what you door light looks like. If they are puddle loghts that are pointing to the floor and after some canbus error free lights, I can certainly supply you them. I just need to determine the bulb type. Do they have a clear cluster or a red cluster on the lights. This is a picture of a range rover sport I had done. I will let you know the price and bulb type once I have a picture from yourself. Although I am 99% sure of the bulb type. Just want to make sure. Kindest regards Gaz@LEDitShine -

Hi toggles. All depends how often you service your car to be fair. I normally change the oil every 10k miles. Check the brakes to see if they are worn out. The wiper blades & air filter. Just the usual stuff. Get genuine parts from TPS and just pay a local garage just for the labour so he doesn't gave to worry about the parts. Will give you peace of mind to that the parts are genuine and not made by A third party. In relation to the belt I normally change them every 60k. Some say 80k but you can't be to sure about these things. If they go you've had it. Hope that's useful for ya. Gaz -
I have read some of the guys complaining that the sticker curls and peels off. Anyway you need to make sure you clean the windscreen properly. Soapy water to clean and just sticking the sticker with a sqigee is not enough. Especially if putting external window stickers on. For best results for long lasting stickers is to clean windscreen with warm soapy water. Then the steps as follows - dry the window - rub your hand over the window and you will feel roughness. - this roughness is all the toxins and contaminations left on the window. This is things like tar dots, dead insects and chemicals from the rain that damage the window as rain carries dust. - get a fine grade wire wool. - rub this on you whole window taking care you don't scratch the paint work. - once you have done the whole window wipe off with a microfibre cloth. - run your hand along the window and it should feel beautiful and smooth like new paint job on a car. - then apply the sticker with warm soapy water if necessary. Remove all bubbles. - once the sticker is dry it will make a perfect seal with the window that the toxins and contaminants are not there to eat away at the sticker - for best results once applied clean and protect your window with rain repellent such as rain-x. - everybody is a winner. I hope you all find this useful. Kindest regards Gaz

vRS CR 2010 - Turbo Actuator
Gizmosgreenline2 replied to JDR888's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Saying that my furby is lagging a lot. I can hear a flutter noise from the engine especially in first and second gear. Thinking it could be a leaking boost pipe and not my turbo. It's an expensive game isn't it. Mines only just done 41k miles. :( -
vRS CR 2010 - Turbo Actuator
Gizmosgreenline2 replied to JDR888's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
That doesn't add up for some reason. I had a similar problem but it wasn't my turbo actuator. It was an exhaust sensor on which there are four sensors and one is actually fitted in the turbo and the other three not so far situated on the exhaust. This basically stopped the car working with start stop mode and did not regen. Ask your garage of the fault code on the diagnostic check and see if you can do a bit of research yourself and see if there is a better solution to this. It's sad that happened to you. As long as your ok mate. It can be stressful when cars breakdown miles away from home. -

Absolutely rubbish. Took my car for a full service. I told them I had a few problems with the trays under the seat. They just shifted the blame to me cus I'm a driving instructor. They didn't sort it out and said because you adjust the seats the trays fall out of place. The seats are made to be adjusted. If they can't design a under seat carriage that holds trays properly then that's not the customers fault. They left the car dirty and still charged me an extortionate price when I fully know that all they did really was change the oil and wipers. Total waste of time. Never going back there again. -

Sorry I didn't take any pic. My phone batt life is crap. Jail broken iphone 5. For some reason I open camera and around 30% batt life the phone just dies on me. Otaylor that's a good price from your local. I remember flicking through max power mags back in the day looking at sound systems. Lol -

I got Alpine type R speakers fitted. 17cm. With spacer brackets. There was already some sound deadening in the door so they said I didn't need it. Cus I already had the upgraded stereo sat nav so skoda had put better speakers in. That's what was told anyway. I would have fitted myself but previous posts mentioned drilling them out. Thought stuff that. Lol
