  1. Columbus has a nav button... That looks like a swing.
  2. As per your other thread, it depends what your kit needs. OEM ambient lighting takes a permanent live feed from fuse 8:
  3. That sounds normal to me. I don't remember any adaption channels or other methods to control the speeds at which highway lights turn on/off.
  4. Tourist mode will stop your low beam cut off causing other drivers issues. If you leave tourist mode off and DLA on, although your high beams probably won't cause an issue, the low beam will. That's assuming the system will even take cars on the unexpected side into consideration
  5. An OEM kit would connect to permanent power, ground and lin-bus. Probably sharing a fuse with other ambient lighting. I have zero idea what an aftermarket kit would connect to. What do they instructions say...? At a guess it'll want either permanent or switched power and earth. The latter will stop any battery drain but they'll only work with the ignition on.
  6. What guide are you following? Pretty sure in a MK2 cornering fogs are part of the lcode and not an adaptation channel... Can you post an auto scan and adaption map from 09?
  7. I had my front left tyre blow out on a pothole recently along a wet motorway at 70mph (~112kph). The car continued in a straight line and I was able to pullover in a controlled manner without issue. Based on that, it feels there is more to your sons incident than your post suggests... Regardless, I would suggest contacting a legal representative who's familiar with Indian laws to see what your options are. I doubt many on this forum have many skills in that area
  8. Based on your existing unit being H06, you probably need a replacement fitting. Get it booked in to a dealer - at least for the Octavia it's TPI 2049942/3
  9. I think you're vastly over estimating how much VAG/Skoda care about stuff like this Typically, a dealer will only update firmware if the customer complains about an issue and there is a relevant TSB/TPI which addresses that specific complaint. As for the Bolero in a 2019/2020 Octavia, the latest version is 0480 which you may already have. I would be quite surprised if there are any more updates... I posted a copy of the 0480 update TPI a while ago if you want to take a look
  10. I can't see the village names round me using the latest Europe maps on the last gen of Amundsen running the latest 0480 firmware. Maybe try something like Waze over Android Auto (or carplay) - that does show village names
  11. Sounds like an RNS-315 aka Amundsen+. The maps are copied from an SD card to the units inbuilt storage at which point the SD card is wiped and useless. It's no longer getting updates, the latest is 2020/21 which is V12 if I remember correctly. A dealer will charge loads but there should be a selection on eBay etc...
  12. It'll depend on your VIN and PR-codes but at a guess, 5E0820951A ZLL. Based on:
