  1. My car for the second time in 18months has ended up with the plastic chassis rail guard after driving over speed humps also fire brigade hose ramps managed to break off again wonder if this is a common problem.
  2. Hi tweensters, Silly question but do the both rear fog/intensity red lights both suppose to come on or just the o/s rear,my elegance only has the one that works but the bulb in the N/s seems to have double elements,in the manual it only refers to rear foglight. Roy
  3. . Hi citigirl was the Harrison,s trim a good match and was it easy enough to apply ,I am about to order the charcoal shade have you any pics on the outcome of the installation.
  4. Hi David, so do you think these side carpet bits are over the top for what they are?,and what do you consider out of the additional bits to be CRAP,my elegance cost over ten grand and I consider it a good purchase and most people on this forum seem of the same opinion, but skoda does penny pinch, these boot liners should have been a standard fitment even if they extended the plastic trim down to the boot floor and not leave bare bloody metal,so I will try the Harrison trim route and make my own.
  5. hi citigirl, did you find it that difficult, the reason i am asking i have also been looking at boot type liner carpet from harrison trim myself, did you cut around the grey plastic trim or did you manage to slide up under the trim, also did you glue it in place, wonder if you have any pics of your attempt,to get the carpet that tweenster and hyphons used were quite expensive for what it is dont you think. Roy
  6. Thanks David on the trim,I took off the little plastic cover for changing the bulbs etc and tried easing the trim away like shown on tweensters video I really tugged on it to see how difficult it will be,you mention the clipping being metal, what looks a bit fragile is the actual gray trim cover so as to feed the carpet under the covers, will have another try I was afraid of damageing that part but you were successful so it can be done cheers David.Roy
  7. hi tweenster,im interested in lining the citigo boot with carpet like you have done also hyphons (DAVID) exellent job,did you use the same method ie pull the side trim away to get the carpet under or did you trim it to fit around thr trim, looking at Davids video it does look a bit daunting pulling on the trim without snapping it etc,and is the carpet the same thickness as the original thats in the boot floor?,looking at your customizing work really gives an already nice citigo that extra appeal much the same as hyphons. ROY
  8. i shall get round to doing this david,it shure does improve on a very decent car and not to much of an outlay cheers may go for the vw version of mudflaps.
  9. hi stormchaser, thanks for that i have downloaded it but still cant get it to respond, think i shall return it to dealer incase of a fault with it brother inlaw has a similar version satnav and he had no luck, but thanks for your kind response. ROY
  10. Cheers for that David it would be good to get it setup I can normally work these gadgets out but this has stump me,don't like to think I'm to old in the tooth but for some reason unless it is faulty,ok matey that would be good if you can put me straight.Roy
  11. Hi tweenster, That Citigo does look great and I do like the extras you have professionly done, what roughly did it cost and was it very difficult. Roy
  12. Hi David, I am having problems with the PID,it keeps going into foreign settings,is it true you can't use postcode but to put street city etc,I have messed about with it since I picked up the Citigo Thursday but can't crack it,if you can throw some light on how to set it up that would be good, was going to go back to MOTORLINE they are the dealers f I can't get it going, other than that I do like the car very much something about its qute ness,I find it better than a lot of the reviewers have said and find it pretty nippy many thanks if you can help. Roy
  13. hi freedom, many thanks for the response, have found quite a bit mor regarding rear liners etc, seems a good idea if one plans to keep the car for a long time, got my citigo on thursday do like it so far, still trying to set up the pid s/nav i got the 5dr elegance in tornado red, cheers david. ROY
