  1. If you have access to the Skoda service app you can enter your VIN and see the date of production and date of first registration. It also records your service visits and accesses the handbooks. Very useful. Matt
  2. Was it raining? Mine unlocks and locks itself if I clean the car with the key in my pocket, have to go hide them once it's unlocked.
  3. I have this on my car too, driver door is noticeably sticking due to the strip. Is there a way of obtaining Škoda's reference for these problems (chrome strip, widescreen washer, etc.) to make it easier to highlight the issues when we raise them?
  4. I found that fitting mud flaps made a huge difference to the amount of grime that gets stuck in the sills.
  5. I get this with podcasts (via SD card), never noticed it on the second SD card I use for music though. Might swap them over to see if it changes anything.
  6. Awww that's crap guys. Especially doing it the Friday before a bank holiday and so close to your "due" dates. Skoda are really doing an excellent job ingratiating themselves on the customer service front. Hope you all get something sorted soon before it sours further.
  7. I use Waze on my phone and only rely on the built-in system when I have no signal. The experience should improve when it eventually joins Android Auto, but I'm not sure if Apple will incorporate it into their car play.
  8. We're getting nearer to waze becoming a reality: http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2016/05/18/waze-comes-android-auto-one-many-new-features/84459926/?utm_source=feedblitz&utm_medium=FeedBlitzRss&utm_campaign=usatoday-techtopstories
  9. We use the maxi cosi 2 way fix base as it seemed to offer the best value/longevity (age range 0-4 years) and is compliant with new regulations. http://www.maxi-cosi.co.uk/gb-en/car-seats/2wayfix.aspx Makes for a very easy life when installing my beloved sleep thief. Matt
  10. Yes, mine's the same. I thought they'd got some polish stuck in the washer at first. Matt
  11. Do you have the time source set to GPS? If you press MENU > click on the cogs > time & date > clock time source > GPS. I discovered the option after adjusting daylight saving time in October. That should give all the information it needs. Not driven abroad to see if it works though! Matt
  12. Here's a picture of my L&K combi with DCC, not sure if you can tell is lower. We bought the car to fit all of the baby stuff in. If you can stretch to the virtual pedal for the boot, I'd certainly recommend it.https://flic.kr/p/AvjJc9
  13. I really like 476s. I put 2-3 coats every six months or so on my previous car and it lasts ages (I think it was originally meant for yachts!). Not had the weather coincide with any days off for me to get a layer on the new one yet...
