Have a look at a VRS or Monte Carlo and you'll see how they fit over the top of the standard one.

You can't remove a standard spoiler, it's part of the tailgate, these are bonded to it.

Definitely gets in the way of the Handbrake, don't have issue with gears personally. I only use mine on longer journeys, motorways etc, leave it up and out of the way around town. £145 is actually a good price if it includes fitting. With many of the aftermarket ones you lose the rear cup holder, the one I've seen fitted you could see screws as well. The genuine one, whilst pricey looks and fits better IMO. They do come up secondhand on the forum and eBay from time to time and are relatively easy to fit yourself. (I have the instructions somewhere if you get stuck)

Has anyone fitted the genuine accessory rear spoiler (part no. FAA710002) to their Fabia? If so, does anyone have a copy of the Fitting Instructions for it, that they could scan or photograph and send me?

I had a petrol smell on my Fabia (same model as yours) it was the fuel filter, didn't look like it was leaking, but replaced it and problem was solved.

Sunglasses holder is dead easy to fit, underseat storage boxes are pretty handy as well if you don't have them.
