Well mine weren't genuine so looks like paying to have it done and the looms

And they're still doing them now to this day...mine is booked in Wednesday

Mine is 51 plate....mk1 and it's being sorted Wednesday

If they fix something at extra charge without ur permission....then just say you never asked for that work to be done and ur not paying

People having problems to do with ignition/cold start/spluttering....ring your nearest skoda dealer as there is a recall for the coil pack to be replaced f.o.c.

Apparantly there is a recall for the coil pack so hopefully won't cos a penny.

The juddering does stop after first setting off it. And also I think the door problem is easier fixed by someone else than me messing it up

Recently purchased my Octavia Vrs 1.8 turbo....couple of problems I've found are the drivers door does not activate interior light/warning light on dash/puddle light and locks back up as not recognised someone has entered the car. And secondly when starting engine and setting off.....there is some hesitation/spluttering but calms down after a couple of minutes. Thanks in advance for any advice
