Well it's goodbye trusty 65 plate Tdi and hello nearly new 17 plate Tsi with black pack, winter pack,and extreme alloys. Not doing 40 miles a day to and from work so I though I'd like a bit more bhp. Oddly new insurance starts next week and I've got a £25 refund due to the swap? Don't suppose I'll be getting 52 driving briskly like what I did. Not as harsh a ride as I expected. Lovin it so far

Is it possible to change the angle of the jet - mine comes out too low on the rear screen

Ok - if i go to 5th at 30mph - the car speeds up slightly, fuel consumption drops it's fine in 4th but rpm at 1000 if rpm were around 800 at idle it would be fine

What should the at rest tickover be - mine's at 1000 rpm and if in 5th it starts to run away a little?

I drive 18 miles to work and back 5 days a week - on mixed roads, last full tank, the trip said avg 49mpg - my calculation said 49mpg 2l CRD vRS and I drive "quite briskly"

Since 1973, when I started owning cars - when there is frost on the screen I fill a large jug with lukewarm water and dribble it down the windows - don't throw it on never had a cracked screen remove snow first with soft brush I have had a rubber scraper that must have had a bit of grit embedded - scratched screen - luckily the Insignia is being pxd tomorrow for a 2016 15 plate vRS hatch tomorrow

Thanks - criteria for replacement were Not as big as Insignia Bigger than an Astra More hp and torques than the Insignia Loads of room in the boot - As I partake in compound archery and my bow in its bow bag is rather large SatNav Ironically - after looking for an auto estate, I ended up with the hatch manual and I can't believe I got what I wanted PX on the trade too . . .
