  1. I'll see how well it comes off,i might end up throwing another few hundred quid at the sand blasters to get them to blast all the interior as well ;-)
  2. It was all a good 10kg's at least from the whole car! Well worth 5hrs to strip it all out, that doesnt include the clean up time with thinners and a rag!
  3. By the way....stripping all that bitumen sound deadening from under the front scuttle panel is......character building! ;-(
  4. Cheers lloyd ;-) Sunroof is now plated over along with the fuel filler! Also a shot of the inside with all the sound deadening removed!
  5. It might be in paint by the end of next month if all goes to plan ;-)
  6. Cheers Lloyd you're a ledge ;-) Next week the S3 6sp and rear diff will be back from AKS Tuning with a pair of peloquins diffs fitted as well as a few other strengthening mods! ;-)
  7. No news is good news....kind of! Well, the car went to have a full fia 10 point cage fitted but i got messed around for around 8 weeks with no work done on the car so I've pulled it out of the other place and Its now at Tylah Motorsport having the cage done, rear diff brace incl, spare wheel well delete, cut out rear valance for diffuser, front floor braces removed for that smooth euro look, custom fireproof box for the 60L ATL fuel cell, sunroof plated up,fuel filler plated up,pedestals to raise the shifter and handbrake levers 2in,custom heater brackets for the lightweight motorsports heater,Tilton pedal box install with tilton reservious....etc.... I'll get lloyd to add some pictures in a bit! ;-)
  8. Fair one lol Let me get down to Clive's unit next week and see how its fitted,i think there may be some black silicone gunk helping it stay put, which would explain my hesitation! But I'll let you all know asap! Sorry for the delay, but I'm straight back in to 80-85hr weeks ;-(
  9. Spacers are 5x100 and 5x112 and still available! I think postage would be about £7-8 due to the weight of the wheel bolts! The sitter is fitred to the bumper and are both being sold together! ;-)
  10. No mate Dont really want to mess around with it,just need it out the way!
  11. As above I've got a few bits to clear as I no longer need them! Set of 4 10mm forge hubcentric spacers with longer bolts and lockers £100 + postage Vibratechnics competition gearbox mount £75 + postage (has been ally welded due to a bolt working loose, but its in full working order and only 2yrs old) Vrs silver front bumper with LCR splitter £80 with a few age related marks Vrs black magic rear bumper £40 with a few age telated marks 4 x D revision coilpacks done a few hindred miles to diagnose a misfire £60 4 x BKR8EIX NGK plugs £10 used but still fine All parts can be collected from Bicester near oxford if you prefer ;-)
  12. As per the title I've got a pair of brand new, boxed mk1 Vrs ball joints that I bought fort 4x4 project! I'm using LCR lower arms now so these are no longer needed! £35 posted!
  13. Besides grinding them off, there aren't many options!
