Yes, my other-half loves their pasties and jam doughnuts.

Hello ituksw, probably have seen you but not sure of the type model you drive, Fabia, Octavia ? I'm seldom on the road these days, but drive a Red 05 Fabia VRS about Camborne where I live.

NEW: Skoda VRS MK1 new F/R discs and pads going cheap
giandougl replied to giandougl's topic in Parts For Sale
Humble apologies discs are original size 232mm, thanks for stopping me for telling a porkie.. -
Bought c/o E-Bay unnamed brand new front and rear grooved and drilled discs for car with genuine set of Skoda front and rear pads last year. Due to poor health they are up for sale. Unable to show items as they are all wrapped-up in their boxes sat in my shed. Price on collection £40.00 no haggling and no possible chance of a delivery service.. Front discs 288mm vented rear 232mm solid as standard Fabia VRS fitting..

Side bolster wear @ 13k (VRS) + little rant.
giandougl replied to butchvrs's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Keep relevant photos taken with recorded mileage and get something in writing, as everything these days needs a paper trail. Blade dealership should have recorded vehicle visit for SKODA vehicle main history record on their main frame computer. Insist on a report (again) and generate a paper trail of the reported wear. -
Over the years with my old 2005, 12 year old Fabia VRS MK1 with no mods, has always checked-out at 10 miles per litre, or 45mpg. Always tested by brimful to brimful during winter and summer. All speeds across the board, including getting the maximum speed ( accordingly to speedo) 130mph..at maximum revs according to rev counter. Still puts a smile on my old 68 + years face..LOL with these large exhausts and pounding drum beats from their audio equipment, when I blast past them..

Hate to dash any hopes of a meeting, but odds lie somewhere between one and zero. Meaning it would be you on your own, turning-up, I have in the past.. You might have more luck north of Cornwall county..

Just wait until this other company takes over from Openreach, then the fun will really start..I just can't wait for the implosion.!!!

Is my alarm siren faulty?
giandougl replied to LordRaiden84's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
I found by locking car using remote control lock button pressed once, with my labrador inside car, with her movement around inside car soon sets off my alarm of..LOL But to hit remote lock button twice will stop the alarm being triggered off..by the dog inside.. -
When someone wants to sit on your bumper/ close to you just leave extra space in front of your vehicle to trickle forward ever so slowly, but always leave/ keep the same distance gap.. To move forward rapidly will be a starting point where speed becomes a factor and very little attention paid to the traffic pace/movement in front of you.

Which worn mount? sounds like banging on floor of car

If as you describe the floor being struck, I have to second Tech1e idea.. -
Standard airbox and intake question.
giandougl replied to jacko rs's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
If your talking about the main air-intake scoop fitted just behind the grill then look carefully at it from the outside with the bonnet open. You will notice the moulding has an open section below the main air-intake feed. I guess the open section allows water to go thru the open slot and into engine bay, and not into the main air-way to the air box ? -
I wonder if the MK1 VRS would except MK2 VRS rear mudflats without having to sheer-off a part of the rear plastic moulding.. IDEA's..... input if possible..Thanks

If it's that pink stuff G13 in your top water reservoir, then water is used to get the right consistency, once G13 has been applied. Get consistency checked-out at the garage once you are home for the approaching winter months for protection. Ditto Ian..
