  1. Does the electronic copy of the book list the content of each service so the customer can verify the correct work has been carried out by the workshop?
  2. Can anybody confirm there is no longer a Service Schedule Book supplied with the new Fabia 3? I have been notified it has been replaced by a digital record but I would personally like to see the schedule published somewhere?
  3. Just to let other 1.2TSI owners know my car is booked in for a timing chain replacement in the next couple of weeks. It went in to the dealer yesterday after they suspected it was the alternator belt tensioner rather than the timing chain (as I had suggested after reading related posts on this forum!)
  4. Thanks for the advice. Probably will go 4seasons (we had them on the front of our Kia Soul last winter (summers rear) and it was OK although it has ESP). It would be nice if the new EU tyre label was more comprehensive and included cold weather/snow performance (and dry performance) then at least we could all make more informed choices before spending our hard earned cash!
  5. My front Dunlop SP01 front tyres need replacing at 19k (rears are good) and I am considering the Nokian WRA3 (£112) or the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons (£121). Any opinions on which is best for the UK climate over the next 9 months as I will probably change the car next May.
  6. Fault Code was P334BOD, Tech bulletin was BAID30068470. I can't remember the actual description of the problem but I would imagine someone on the forum could track it down. I had a Golf 1.6TDI as a replacement and can confirm I much prefer the Yeti (including the engine - although not as economical as the Golf!)
  7. Mine has just had a new turbo at 2700 miles due to a fault code/technical bulletin rather than any specific failure - it drove fine. I can get the technical bulletin reference number later if needed.
  8. Thanks Plumber - I picked up a Candy White 1.2TSI SE on Friday and think its brilliant - also got a reasonable PX on my Fabia vRS SE - too good a deal to ignore. Obviously slower than the vRS but not slow and the ride/handling is the best of any car I have driven.
  9. I saw 77mpg on the trip in my vRS for a 65 mile jorney on M25/M1 recently - it may not be accurate but certainly put a smile on my face - the 50mph limits helped alot though!
  10. Try Best Buy Tyres - around £76 each at the moment I think!
  11. Try www.bestbuytyres.co.uk for Rainsport 2's - good on price and no problem supplying mine a few weeks ago - they seem to use Formula 1 Fast Fit to fit them - the tyres do seem v.good in these cold/wet conditions so far!
