Hi all , just bought a new to me , Estate (elegance) 2.0 tdi (140) I need a couple of things cleared up. 1. as it’s on the “cusp “ how can I tell of the ident plate if it’s a mk 2 or 3? 2. What size spare wheel would I need ( it’s got 225/40/80 tyres on the alloy) it came with a crappy gunge kit

Just ordered my 2nd Octavia Hatch 1.9tdi. Cant wait to return to economic driving in a very decent car. My last new octavia (54 plate) was traded for a kia sorento (due to proposed upgrade in our caravan). As we are now happy with the 2 berth caravan we have, I know the Octavia is perfectly matched.
