  1. Why post here when all you get is grief? Not any more....

  2. Lurkers? Never seen any of those round here.....
  3. Yeah that would seem right. The interior is a step up too.
  4. Not for the Scout. You have to ask for Cruise (As they can fit it in the factory but still don't put it as an option). It's a devil of a job if you try retrofitting it, a dealer needs about 5 hours
  5. If your doing less than 28k per year then your better off with the petrol. I worked it out over 3 years you would need to do over that for the diesel to be cheaper.
  6. Different manufacturers have approached the design in different ways. In my experiance of both Whiteline and Jabba I have found both to work quite well with the Jabba having the edge on the track for the more discerning driver and the Whiteline having a little more flexibility for road. I don't think the Drop links on the Whiteline are cosmetic and as mentioned they add a little functionality to the bar which is something Jabb bar doesn't have (It's either on or off and for some people it's a bit sharp) The Jabba bar IS a hefty piece of girder with no drop links and as this is the ultimate in terms of performance (And price....) when it comes to Fabia RARBS it's far from a Pikey Mod!
  7. This is so true. They are lethal in snow which is why they are currently fitted as my summer tyres. Other than that they give good fuel economy and longevity. They are very good in the wet and even better in the dry. I think the only draw back is I have found the sidewalls to be a little soft when pressing on. However on my current vehicle this is less of an issue and they are excellent. The Toyos where my favorite on my VRS, they where much better on the track.
  8. There is something you dont hear very often on here....
  9. The biggest effect of a stiffer front sway bar on the tubby front end of the VRS will probably be to increase understeer which is something you dont really want. I am not sure what it would do in conjunction with a RARB but for the amount of effort needed to fit it, it would seem a bit of a thankless task.
  10. Not sure if you need the the h7's or the h4's but these bulbs are excellent upgrades.
  11. Yep. Might as well have been using cheese. If you can get Mintex Extreme these are the danglies for the money.
  12. I have used that site a few times and had good service. I even got a free pen/laser pointer with one order
  13. Did this on application, even got the genuine blades. It first went in the middle of the screen where both wipers contact so it's worn off. The stuff is cack compared to silicon wipers which is what would have been fitted if they made an aero version.
  14. No, it was genuine. It's like a glass tube built inside an applicator and it stank. I still have the second which I may just use on my parents conservatory. It's not a patch on PIAA wipers.
  15. Bought two from ebay with high hopes. Followed the instructions and had about two weeks of reasonable performance before it wore off and now it just makes a mess. Feel like I wasted my money.
