  1. So after months of looking around I’d found a great company to lease my next Superb through..... the customised order was put in to Skoda UK and all I had to do was sit back and wait..... I contacted the lease company earlier in the week and enquired about when they’d need my retention certificate for my personal registration, they said they’d check with Skoda UK for when it would be being registered in the UK..... to cut a very long story short I was told the order had been mislaid, now they’ve (SUK) finally admitted it was never actually submitted last October!!! Skoda’s loss has been Audi’s gain.... After getting absolutely rubbish service from them I’ve gone to Audi and got an absolutely belting PCP deal on a secondhand low mileage immaculate A6 Avant Quattro 3 litre TDi ‘Black Edition’ amazingly with the essential factory options I required from the superb! If anyone else is in the same boat as what I was, I.e waiting for an order please just double check it’s been processed properly - unlike what I did!!!!!😤😤 So it’s goodbye from me before I really said hello on the mk3 Superb forum... Steve🙂
  2. I’d consider getting one of the 4x4 versions, either 150ps manual or 190ps DSG for towing. Im sure the 150ps version could be tuned up to 180/190ps with a tuning box or remap. Steve.
  3. Hi all, Has anyone had experience of using the genuine Skoda iPad holders which clip to the back of the front seats? And if so, are they any good? Also, can anyone confirm if the facelift 2020 Superb has USB sockets in the back? Thanks, Steve
  4. A quick search on eBay should bring something up👍🏻 There are loads out there... eBay
  5. I’ve just found a 65plate SE-L executive estate (2litre 150ps diesel, manual) on the auto trader which is a little over your budget at 12k, but it has the factory fitted foldaway tow bar and is 4x4. High mileage at 74k, might be worth a look?👍🏻 Steve.
  6. Hi, Personally I would definitely go with a 2 litre diesel - ideally with 4x4, especially as it’s 1450kgs... The cheapest mk3 Superb with 4x4 would be the manual 2litre 150ps diesel in SE-L spec, but you’d struggle with a 10k budget. Have you considered mk2 Elegance spec 2litre 140ps manual or 170ps DSG diesel 4x4 estate? Steve
  7. I asked the very same question the other day... I couldn’t find any 19/20 L&K models with it present, but could as stated earlier find a few examples of it on the SE-L executive models.... Steve

  9. Years ago in my old heavily modified 450bhp mk1 vRS I fitted the boost gauge and a AFR/EGT gauge in a pod which mounted on top of the steering column. you could get a pod for single or twin gauges - I can’t for the life of me remember where I got them from though.....I’ll have a search for you👍🏻
  10. Hi, From what I gather this is an electric heater which helps heat the cabin up whilst the engine is still cold. Once the engine’s up to normal running temperature it switches over to the engine for its heating. Hope that helps 👍 Steve
  11. Hi, What is this feature on the facelift models? Am I right in thinking it will it allow me to heat the car without the engine running? Thanks, Steve
  12. Hi all, Has anyone had any experiences with the above tuning boxes on the 190ps TDi engine - ideally the 4x4 DSG (7 speed) variant. I will be using my Superb for occasional towing (twin axle caravan approx.1700kgs) and the added extra torque will almost certainly be required. Many thanks, Steve
  13. Hi, It doesn’t appear anywhere on the new face lifted configurator though? Steve.
