Fabia MK1 was a cool car, I loved it very much hoping to have the same love for the wagon. So far so good

Hey guys. Missed having out here. Just checked and my last post here was 12 November 2012. Back in the day, I used to drive a black Fabia vRS mk1. Sold that in 2012 and went travelling to Australia. Fast forward nearly 7 years; ended up moving out and have lived in Australia ever since, married and a kid on the way.....and finally back in a Skoda. Just put a deposit down on a new to me 2011 Octavia vRS mkii estate in Silver. Had a thing for the estates for a while now. Unfortunately the original mk1 fabias are not available over here in Australia, as id love one back as a weekend toy. Instead, this is going to be my family friendly little toy, which will hopefully be subject to a few power and aesthetic mods. Have to say, its awesome to be back on this forum; none others like it IMHO Hope everyone is well

Love the 8 pots man. Lower and wider though i feel. What adapters do you run? I ran 15's up front and 25's at the back. Are yours just 15's all round? Ell

Yeah you need to have a decat map put on fella, give ben a shout and im sure he can sort something out for you to account for the clutch too, as one of the other guys mentioned. Id also bin the k&n panel and get a new standard one but that's just my opinion.

White Merc 8 pots on my old fabia TT Comps are very nice, slightly heavy though, also have been done on quite a few fabias, as have the spiders. If i were you mate id have a good look round and find some you really like, like maybe off some of the other vag range, they can always be made to fit with adapters etc. Go for something different

Only just heard this news. Very sad to hear. Never met Luke, and at the best of times didnt like his forum comments, but with the majority of comments on here, he seemed like a really nice genuine bloke that liked to help people out which i do respect him for, and would have liked to meet him and his car. It was clear to us all he loved his cars and bikes, very dedidcated. RIP fella

Hey guys, just thought id show you what i swapped my Fabia vRS in for. Its a petrol, automatic and no where near as quick, but very spacious :p ...... .... Sorry for the p**s poor photo, but you get the idea. This is my life for the last 2 months and hopefully for the coming 9 months too.
