Hi, I have a 07 octy 1.9pd which has recently started to rattle somewhere around the inlet manifold, the rattle only comes on when revs reach 2000 then the inlet pipe to the EGR starts to vibrate . It still drives but becomes very lumpy on tick over and when accelerating seems to miss a beat every couple of seconds . I tried to research it but got stuck between the EGR VALVE , THROTTLE BODY , or EGR COOLER , No management lights on yet ,its booked in for computer check next tuesday any ideas where to start would be most welcome,

Hi Dirk, i ave the same problem has you had hot then cold or sometimes not hot at all, done the therm, w/pump, temp senser, etc , tried flushing rad and matrix still the same , Can you give me more details on how you did yours (did you use a flushing agent) where did you conect the presure hose etc . regards Dave

hi thanks for replying tried what you surgested the only thing to do with a radio code was 4 letters, i unerstand that its a code by numbers thanks anyway

Wonder if anybody can help me witha problem with my stream radio for my 07 plate octavia. i fitted a new battery a week ago since then the the radio has refused to work , i got the car about a year ago which didnt include any paperwork code included. so i booked it in at the dealers last friday as it as to be hooked up to the computer this i did but they was unable to read it they surgested i take it to a audio specalist to have a new code entered into it they were unable to do this has they didnt have any softwear for it and also told me no one else would , i have tried 5 other audio firms and these also drew a blank. On the plus side Bickertons (dealers will sell me a new one for £475) . Any other ideas would be most welcome

Hi everyone , This is my 1st post about my 1st skoda bought it for the Mrs drove it twice then took it off her and give her my ford love this engine to bits its a 1.9 tdi pulls like a train and does 50 to the gallon my ex ford 37 no comparison, Now my only complaint the previous owner has picked the steering wheel with his thumb nail and put a hole in it so got another steering wheel no probs but i need help with getting mine off ANYBODY ANY IDEAS PLEASE sorry forgot to mention its a 07 octavia classic 1.9tdi, any help would make my new love even lovelyer
