  1. its a "tailpipe trim" option from Skoda, take a look at page 14 of the online accessories brochure
  2. I had -30 Eibachs on my old Combi, it lowers it enough for people to look at it and try and figure out what is different to a stock Fabia but it made the ride as rough as hell, almost as bad as the Coilies on my current Polo so I would suggest getting uprated shocks as well. Will try and find a pic as it had Monte front and rear splitters on it. I had a Universal filter on mine and it did the job fine.
  3. i like Me likey, I think I will be waiting this to come out and suffer with the Polo up to then. If the rumours about the Mk 7 Golf are true though, I am expecting it to be either an as-yet not in production engine or a 2.0 TSI / TDI.
  4. all the 1.2 TSi's I have seen rolling road printouts of are normally running about 12bhp, my old one hit 121bhp pre-tuning box and exhaust etc
  5. I had a custom one on mine from Powerflow. I asked for it to be fairly quiet and I have to say it had a nice rumble on power but was otherwise nice and discreet.
  6. and it will be out first as well. Would not be surprised if there is also eventually a VW and Audi version (Polo and A1 saloons possibly?)
  7. Hello, I saw my name! In answer to the qs - yes it will fit the Roomster (provided its a FL version), from Skoda its about £200 and comes unpainted. Mine wasn't technically a MC splitter, it was fitted before the MC came out and was part of the non-UK sport styling package. Alternatively, Superskoda supply a pre-painted black version for about the same price.
  8. Mine ran some rollers at 118bhp stock at just over 3,000 miles. I never babied mine, it tended to be driven hard. The Racechip box I had on my old 1.2, I got the "lower" spec box. Went like a stabbed rat afterwards but then I think they have all got around 120bhp or so from the factory. Mine was probably a bit more than that, I had put the air filter on it plus a performance exhuast. Would think it ended up more around 150bhp or so before I had to send it back. It was certainly quick enough to outrun Fiesta STs but not quite quick enough to outrun Corsa VXRs. Still have all the bits waiting to go onto a new one. WHEN i get a replacement (and I will!) And I am sure there are a couple more people with "tuned" 1.2s although AFAIK mine was probably one of the heaviest that I know of.
  9. slow? ha ha, try a drag race against my 1.6 Polo, it will show you what slow really is!
  10. Doubt there will be a vRS Citygo, as has been said the Lupo only sold under 1,000 and even if there was I would think it would have the more compact 1.2 TSi 105 rather than the bulkier 1.4 TSi.
  11. Oh god noooooo! I had the Eibach -30s on my Combi and whilst it looked nice it rode like a pig! Think crash bash thump over even the slightest lump or hole in the road. I think my Polo on its super-hard coilovers is actually more comfortable than the Fab was!
  12. Indian Rapid / Vento are basically just saloon versions of the Fabia / Polo so technically they are a smaller car anyway. The Rapid is going to be a bit more in the style of the 6K Polo / Ibiza ie a "parts Bin special" so they are going to use modified versions of several different platforms to make it up. Will end up being a bit bigger and more spacious than the Indian versions. Probably better quality built too.
  13. nice looking one there, and IMHO, I found the armrest the single most useless feature of the Elegance. Its too long and high to allow you to have it down and use the gearstick so mine ended up just being folded up all the time to keep the bloomin thing out of the way!
