Stephen, Does it look just like a normal mirror ( mine does and dealer says changed style and have no button or anything to indicate auto dim.

I have just taken delivery of a Superb SE (New but reduced of course as end of Superb 3) but have notice the Auto Dimming rear Mirror (mention in current Spec brochure) is not fitted. Has anyone else had a Superb SE model in 2019 who could confirm if they have an auto dimming mirror? Many thanks.

Do you still get fairly good visibility out of the rear window for reversing with the blinds on?? Do they not move or fall when you open the tailgate? Thanks :-)

Have a Diesel 150hp Octavia now and had a VRS 170hp before. Not had a petrol in years but thinking with government policies might be way to go

Thanks - thats not so bad as I read a magazine article saying real world was about 29 mpg !

Having previously owned a VRS TDI 170 I am considering buying a new VRS 245 TSI but have bothered about the mpg you get from them. I have searched for "vrs mpg" in the forums but didn't find this discussed in the first two pages. Would owners of VRS 230 TSI or VRS 245 TSI mind commenting on the MPG you get? I mostly motorway drive but it is very busy around Manchester. Many thanks!

James - nothing at all! No accident damage at all and no damage to radar sensor at all. Car was brought brand new by me and has done 28500 miles now. The Skoda Dealer would not fix it under warranty and said Skoda had refused to fix this :-( Car is under 2 years old. Upon taking the car in I was told that if the sensor had damage from a bird, stone or a "heavy Fly" (yes this was really said!) then it would not be under warranty. I had said if it was damaged I would put in an insurance claim. No damage whatsoever found and so you can hardly claim on insurance for *NOT* having an accident! CF1143F0 code read from car by dealer and wanted to fix it for a non warranty job for about 4.5 hours labour !

I have an Octavia 2015 which has fault code C1143F0 - "Multiple Activations of Emergency Braking". The garage (there aren't many who will look at them!) have given me the code but refuse to fix under warranty or try and clear the code without a full realignment at several hours labour! There is ZERO visible damage to the radar unit / bumper etc. I have read on another forum that VCDS can be used to simply reset this fault code and that this would possible fix without realignment. Is there anyone in the Manchester / South Lancashire area who has VCDS think this could be possible????

Did you get the front Assist fixed? My Octavia has just developed ACC and FA errors.

My car rather helpfully opened all it's windows in the rain at work! I think my keyring had pressed the open doors button in my pocket continuously opening the door an all windows. The seats therefore got soaking wet! The alcantara stretched giving the bubble in the middle. Over the last week it seems to have reshaped again and the bulge seems to have gone again at present. It might just have been the dampness on the seat which had caused the stretching?

Was the Mk2 VRS you bought a red one? I recently traded one in with a dealer nearish to you.

My Octavia Elegance is 3 weeks old and doing this. Has anyone contacted a skoda dealer about it yet???
