I had the same problem on my ASZ PD 130 engine...coolant would puke itself from the resovoir bottle after running the engine hard on the motorway. Turned out to be a slow head gasket failure where the piston combustion was leaking into the coolant system, pressurising it and thus ending up forcing the pressure build up to vent from the coolant resovoir bottle. £600 later I am still running the engine back in after major surgery. Turned out my cam bearings were also worn out. As part of the HGF fix I got the head reconditioned with nitrided lifters and new cam bearings. From what I have found out it doesn't seem to be too uncommon a problem with the ASZ. All the best everyone I hope your engine won't suffer what mine did.

Excellent job there and great piccies to boot! Could I ask? How would you rate the Hertz DSK speakers? I'm really drawn to them after reading quite a lot of positives. Would you choose them again? Have you put an amp in to drive them or is the head unit fine? What sound deadening material did you use? How much did you need for the doors? and was it worth doing? I'm very close to carrying out the same job (same speakers!) on my car and thought I'd ask you thoughts Thanks Rukas PS Sorry for so many questions, I just thought I'd check with a real person rather than a sales guy/ advertising blurb.

Nothing performance wise. I have done the W8 interior light mod, Cruise Control, Minimised EGR, Flip Key, LED Sidelights, Leather Gear Gaiter errrr oh yes and the Centre Sun Visor but that's a it boring compared to some eh. I may get the engine chipped at some point. I quite like the Revo idea where I could always revert back to the original map if I wanted to. I am wondering about the 312mm brake conversion though What are you running? I'm intrigued as to what the differences are between the Skodo and Seat models are. I guess they're closer relatives than I might think.

I was close to buying a VRs myself but ended up with an Ibiza TDi FR...how about one of those? I can recommend them for sure
