  1. I just find the car responds alot more. As I drive mostly the same roads every day I have a good idea of the speed I generally approach the same corners at and with ASR on I find myself crossing over the white line as the car feels like it wont turn in any more and im dragging it around the bend but with it off it goes exactly where I want it to go and I can take the same line at the same speed as I did in any other car which I was quite surprised about after the things people had said about the superbs handling. 2. I wouldn't be putting it off on a push under any circumstances but in all honesty I only turned it off the first time because I found it could be cumbersome getting up the lane at times but much easier with it off but then found that on the roads I drive most with tight twisty corners its much more manageable rather than feeling like an artic lorry. 3. I spend the majority of my driving time on B roads and some that are more like Z roads and I so far I have no complaints with the handling at all. At first it wouldnt always turn in as much as I would like in the corners but now I always turn the ASR off and it goes exactly where I want it to. Ant695
  4. Did you check front and rear under the carpet? Also under the battery is worth checking. Ant695
  5. Have you checked for signs of water ingress? Its well covered on here. Ant695
  6. Cheers for all the quick replies. I do like the effect just didnt know if theyre was an actual purpose. Ant695
  7. I recently noticed when driving at night that beside my front inteior lights there are two red lights and having looked in the handbook and on here I cant find any explanation to what purpose they serve. Does anyone know? Ant695
  8. It does sound like water ingress. Have you checked your front and rear passenger side footwells for signs of dampness or under the battery? Ant695
  9. This seller on ebay has replacement LED bulbs for interior and they work quite well. http://myworld.ebay.ie/leonlighting/?_trksid=p4340.l2559
  10. Oh good. Im glad to hear its not a fault as the cars been perfect so far and I took the preventative measure on the water ingress already so it shouldnt be an issue. Thanks for the quick replies. Ant695
  11. Just had another look at it and i dont know if this is right or some sort of fault but if i only press the unlock button once only drivers door opens and i didnt notice this before because i only went to the drivers door to pop the boot but if i press unlock twice in quick succession then all doors and the boot unlocks. Anyone know if this is supposed to happen?? Ant695
  12. Cheers for that Tom. I thought it might be something like that but I asked the dealer to take the phone kit out so wasn't sure. I guess he just took out the cradle. Ant695
  13. Just this evening I started having a problem with the boot on my superb. If I unlock the car on the central locking and try to open the boot from outside it wont open. It only opens with the release from inside the drivers door. Ive also checked the lock on the drivers door and it isn't the problem. The car is still under warranty but if its something simple i can fix myself rather than a 120 mile round trip to the dealers id rather do it myself. Any ideas? Also I just noticed a little black plastic thing beside the front interior lights held on with a velcro patch and there's a wire running under the interior light. Anyone know what this is? Ant695
  14. Here's a link to the Mk2 umbrella. I got one of these for mine as i quite liked the idea of having the proper umbrella in the holder even if i never use it. http://www.skodaparts.com/product/superb-umbrella-2008-2011-22550
  15. Is it the standard head unit or an aftermarket one? If its the standard probably a loose connection. If its an aftermarket you may need an adapter but they're not available for all models of head unit.
