mate is the egr hard to get off too clean? or is it just a few bolts? really want to give mine a clean cheers

Just letting use know it may be of some use... im refurbishing the wheels myself, helped a mate do his a few weeks back and we followed this guide on vagdrivers.... under 50euro to do the 4 wheels and its 100% http://vagdrivers.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=64274

Cheers for the replies lads! as much as i dont want to go antracite it just seems the easiest option...the last thing you want in the winter months is to have to clean your wheels the whole time :p I have dished wheels for the good weather and they get enough cleaning as it is so maybe go antracite and take the lazy option haha anyone have pics of the vrs wheels in anthracite on a really low black fabia?

ye i like the gold i might try get someone to photoshop a few mental colours on first n if it doesnt work still with gold

refurbishing the standard vRS wheels and am considering changing the colour of them. anyone have pics of the standard vrs wheels in different colours??? gonna use them as my winter wheels and just dont no what too do...seen a set in gold which where nice but im thinking of going mad any suggestions would be appreciated

ye there still setting in haha but when im done in college for christmas and have no more multistorey car parks to worry about itll be sitting on the deck literally haha there vmaxx came with shortened droplinks aswel they are so much more comfy than standard suspension its a tight set up for the price handles corners lovely.

well lads, i am considering changing steering wheel i have my eye on an audi a4 b5 sline one which is mint but will it fit? is there a certain fitment for the fabia? (i dont have a clue about steering wheels ha) would really rather get a wheel from another vag because of the airbag, was also looking into an omp or momo small chunky one but cannot find one anywhere :( any help would be greatly appreciated

sounds sweet man...if your going for big stance at the rear id look into getting bags or pulling the arches...the edge of my tyres where squeeling last night because i had two people in the back n my spacers are only 10mm and the coils are only half way down

well you must have jinxed me because i went through a checkpoint about an hour ago and was told to put it back on fat chance of it going back on tho ha sent it to bodyshop i no a lad who is a serious panel beater he done it with fibreglass, sprayed door handles, made the two gills into 1, sprayed spoiler ,fitted the coilovers and gave it a professional buff...only took 6 days ill be going back to him soon to get more work done ye cheers i like the stance of it in the tunnel put 10mm spacers in the rear but made such a difference imo

ye makes it look so much cleaner and aggressive looking ye looking forward to seeing it

no no i got this up in northern ireland and brought it down south and done all bodywork and mods too it, only thing it had when i got it was the oem xenons and heated seats. that was my plan aswel but i just couldnt wait to get stuff done fair play for holding off man takes will power ha

well lads, Been on this a while but never put my car up so taught id share it with ye got a vrs 2 months back cheap as chips(i mean CHEAP), engine was 100% just needed a good tidy up and a bit of tlc as the bumpers werent sitting right and there was scrapes EVERYWHERE ha i have pics of her before i started tidying it up somewhere but cannot find them at the mo will get up as soon as i can. the car had a few extras oem xenon projector headlights, heated seats etc. so far i added: skoda mfd satnav de badged and de wipered vw shark fin aerial k&n filter seat cupra pd160 intake fly eyed headlights and fogs carbon wrapped interior pieces replaced most bulbs with leds trs tow strap engine cover sprayed vrs green dropped her on vmaxx coilovers calibre vintage 17s with nice stretch smoothed numberplate recess on front bumper colour coded handles got 2 front grills made into one and colour coded and just a general tidy up. I'm considering putting a set of mk4 golf recaros into my vrs, i no the rails are different and it requires alot of work im just wondering has anyone done it before and have any pics? cheers
