  1. My 2l has done the same yesterday. Except I did not hear any strange noises at all. Any ideas anyone?? Grrr....
  2. Hello all. You have mentioned dogs, now what of children??? My little'un will be nine by then, he has never been camping etc. Is any one else taking kids along? Plus a missus...plus a dog...plus...BEER! (oh, that's a given, sorry! lol) Cheers, Martin.
  3. Hello. Any more problems? This morning I have lost radio sound yet it looks like I can still change stations on the screen. The cd still works but only at a medium to low volume and the volume won't go up or down AND sat nav has lost her voice! No sound but still showing directions on the screen...any ideas...anyone? Cheers, Martin.
  4. Hello, What have you put on?? Tell us! lol :wonder:
  5. New glow plugs, is a quick and relatively cheap job too. If one plug is 'off', you can get an intermittent non start. If you think about it, your car only starts on one cylinder and it depends which cylinder, due to how the engine comes to rest when you take the key out. So say plug 3 is poor, then it will start fine on 1,2 and 4. Just luck of the draw. And...bad plugs don't always show up on the diagnostic. The same thing happened to my old mk1 Octy, but the dealer should have checked this I would have thought. Cheers, Martin.
  6. ...wtg to pick up my Octy next week....arggh...
