  1. Sorry didn't think of that- Coventry

Under 17000 miles Full service history Owned by non smoker, no pets and no children in car Grab a bargain - this car is a giant killer! With all the options this is truly a one off. Priced to sell £14,000 OVNO Location Coventry
  3. Just checked their website and realise what the D in DTUK stands for!
  4. Sounds like it should be £349 as per website or 299+50 quoted by Fin69. Don't like being ripped off or even someone trying to rip me off! Glad I didn't pay then and there and decided to think about it. Cheeky buggers! Shouldn't this be reported to Skoda or are dealers allowed to 'set their own prices'?
  5. Recently had my 1st servicing done at local dealer. Was done whilst I waited and I had the choice of leaving it there and taking a courtesy car. Price wasn't bad either. At the end I was offered a fixed price servicing option- £399 for next 2 services and MOT with the 2nd one. So a major service, a minor and an MOT for 399. Is it worth it? I was told at current prices that's about £70 off but labour and parts constantly increase so would be more like £130 in real terms. What do you guys think?
  6. If you have an android smartphone with NFC then try an NFC tag to launch this app and use it to fire only when going on a business trip. Save your battery on other occasions. You could put a sticker in your car or have a tag on your key fob. Gaurav
  7. Mine resolved itself. Not sure what caused it or what improved things as I didn't do anything! Gremlins??
  8. The estate if I'm not mistaken is not 4x4 whereas the combi is. So my question is is there a 4x4 Vrs?
  9. I have just upgraded to a columbus HU on my OctyVRS. Surprised at the accuracy of the TMC information. Rush hour traffic shows up brilliantly. So investigated settings. TMC set to auto is picking up a channel called Free C&W which I presume is Coventry & Warwickshire as I'm in Coventry. The unit obviously is connected to the web so I can only presume the radio is using crowd sourced data which is brilliant. However if I press the TMC button which shows all the alerts about traffic they are the usual classic FM ones about major motorways and not the local ones my unit is actually showing and what I really need. I also have a Freelander 2 with a factory fitted Satnav with TMC. On this unit the auto selection will only choose classic FM as the source and manual brings up no other option either. So how is the Columbus picking up his good stuff and do people in other areas get very up to date TMC info as well? If not it might be worth checking your settings as I find classic FM info next to useless and hopelessly outdated. Gaurav
  10. Problem is selling it. If new owner can't make it work I have to accept it back with all attendant hassle and costs! Fubar: do let us know how you get on with the dealer On another note: presumably most Columbuses have come from other cars- why don't they have this code problem then? Gaurav
  11. I have a 4 digit code in my owners manual written down by hand presumably by the dealer. This is not enough to make it work in another car??
