  1. hi don't know if this is an old thread or not but i have just got an older car a roomster 2014 (saves paying finance on a car and owing 6k)only 46k on clock, anyway the stereo iss old a swing i think din2 i have been looking a things and will this be ok for the car ? obviously a new arial would have to be put in https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294569276201?fits=Car+Make%3ASkoda&hash=item4495b27329:g:thwAAOSw5bBhpQMD
  2. and if you need the android link/apple thingy activating cheapest i got mine done for was rrg rochdale skoda 120
  3. i have a 110bhp although it's not now 17 reg ra[id spaceback i plan on keeping it tbh almost 300 miles is te longest trip 145 each way with a stop on the way back 1 for toilet break and the other tired so 20 minute kip, that cost me 15 quid, just had it mapped so its quicker but only st1 ..as it's a tech f n r sensors heated seats ,sat nav (but use waze)now cornering fogs and when dlr lights are on it's all round ,passed it's mot 3 days ago and i find it drives damn well was going to part ex it for a yeti but basically if it aint broke keep it and run it into the ground this has adjustable seats also but as it sometimes gives neck ache iv bought a pillow thing to save my neck
  4. yeah i decided to stay as i am in time i'll remap it too mny factors for one no reversing sensors anyway even the salesman said your better off where you are
  5. hi thinking of changing my 17 reg rapide space back tech to a 2011 vrs , hopefully, i'll get a grand out of it petrol isn't a problem , is the boot difference much or do i get more in an octy? also amundsmen cd unit will it display my waze or am i back to my phone again? cheers guys
  6. i have had 3 suzuki's and 2 of them were sports but the 126bhp version the last being a 2011 the first i popped in an induction kit and lowered it with strut brace and you had the best handling go-kart type car imaginable and it did 134 with 28 stone in it cracking car to drive , now after that they became too dear i paid 10k on a slightly used one and could not justify spending more and more plus the shape changed too much for me but the car did drive excellent and even in high hills in Cumbria it never stopped or ran out of breath and on a decent run 50mpg easy, I know someone had a 134 one and it only just kept in front of me in a few winding roads near Wigan , not many drive like them believe me
  7. i have a redline i am now 48 find the car a breeze to drive and i came from a powerful car, running costs are almost non existent ,on the motorway it uses little petrol as for the stri[es the dealer said he would take them off for free to which i have left them on they don't bother me and the red mirror caps i like plus the metalic white i m going to see if it will sparkle as my old suzuki swft sport did in red it had gold in the paint till the dealer washed the wax off , I saved 6k on mine big plus with only 3000 on the clock
  8. I find my redline petrol fine tbh if thees a lag welly it it soon kicks in , unfortunately, you can't have everything i had an audi a3 running 252bhp stage 2 2.0 lump 55 reg had to warm it up and don which put 15 minutes on my work run and about 25-60 a week depending on the dipstick in front doing 22mph so bit the bullet part exed towards my redline and paid cash for the rest some months 35 lol huge difference in running so a little lag tbh ain't that bad
  9. i was with adrian flux was going to try brentacre but seeing as i sold my audi for my redline 1.0tsi 110bhp had to cancel my insurance and g normal fr 305 a year, not paid that since i was 24 many years ago im 47 now , best bet mo your car see a specialist i know a few years ago adrian flux said to me 650 on one policy but they woud insure every mod done to it and could do as much as i wanted in that year with no increase just phone and inform them car insured mods insured too , specialist insurers are there as generally people do more to the car and look after it , my only gripe with any insurer is say you fit better brakes you should py less as your going to stop quicker therefore as a rule be safer in the event of a near accident , but then it's all money i guess , must admit since i part exed my old car the dealer who dealt with mekeeps asking what mods am i doing to mine lol
  10. i was overtaking when mine came up on maxidot and started bleeping like hell , was miles away from what i was overtaking in a 30 zone , i do believe it happened slightly the first day i got it going into a car park, nothing in front of me and was 100 yards from where i was going slowing down so who knows
  11. from the 1st of this month i've been driving my new redline, well it had 3000 on the clock , 5500 knocked off straight off , now it's a 1.0tsi 110 bhp nippy as hell can't fault it really , i had a 252bhp audi a3 s line before and its so good on fuel and not underpowered mainly round town so far 48 average , better than 10=29
  12. i have to admit just the idea of this freaked me out on my mrs old car the monte carlo she had, luckily i drove it once only, but since owning my redline with it on 5 days now i have actually kept it on and it doesn't bother me at all.
  13. probably yes just different map or ecu on them
  14. fabia 1.0 tsi 110bhp hatch 6 speed manual had it 2 days so impressed redline 2017 standard (for now) 16"black alloys lovely nippy car came from an a3 s line 252bhp and this things so nippy round town great on fuel (main reason)
