Please move this to standard Citigo thread

Got Citigo in for 2nd service next week. Mentioned 2 faults to dealer to look at. First one is clicking clutch pedal (common fault I know) but second fault is how much the car steams up. This is our 2nd Citigo and first one never did this and its only started happening over last 5 or 6 weeks. Anyone had same issue ?

Now you have access, can you tell us why Citigo clutch pedals click ?

I could understand if you were drilling mounting holes in the bodywork and affecting the car structurally or causing an area of potential for corrosion. Most of these body kit parts can be bonded on to avoid such issues so wouldn't really damage the car.

How do they invalidate your warranty, they are only cosmetic changes ? That's like saying tinting your windows or fitting your side decals has invalidated the warranty

So does turning the radio up

When you open the car door on the video at around 00:18s it also sounds like you have the whistling water pump noise. Get this replaced under warranty as well

Liking the blue flag on the roof !!

My daughter drove the top of the range one (orange model) and I was a passenger. Cheap interior materials is an understatement !! Car sounds like it is made from tin foil due to poor sound insulation and feels very lightweight.

Considered it myself. Not too difficult a job providing you are careful removing various bits of trim. There is a very good guide on here somewhere or on the VW up! forum.
