  1. Got it for about £19,500. Can't recall exactly as there was some negotiations over the price for my old one. Forgot to say in my last post that I also got the proper spare wheel in the boot too!
  2. Its a 220tsi with mostly standard kit. It was the indoor display car at Fish brothers in Swindon so only had 56miles on it when I bought it. Its got heated seats, amundsen nav system and standard maxi-dot. Can't think of anything else spec wise. Would have liked heated front screen if picking spec myself but otherwise I'm very happy with it having traded in my 09 mk2 octty vrs for it. Not going to tinker with it until out of warranty and then it will be only minor stuff and maybe a remap.
  3. Love this car. Had it for six months now and still find any excuse to take it for a spin. Only 3k on the clock and not done anything to it yet apart from adding a couple of Brisky stickers.
  4. Managed to update mine yesterday with no issues at all. Used a Windows 7 machine and the standard Skoda issue memory card. Cut and paste the old data onto the laptop then downloaded the update and unpacked it directly on to the card. Took some time but went smoothly.
  5. Hello. I live in Gloucester and regularly in Cheltenham. Drive a blue mk3 Octavia vrs. Hope fully see you around.
  6. Got my first vrs at 23. A Mk 1 fabia then moved on to a mk2 Octavia vrs at 29. Then 5months ago I got my mk3 Octavia vrs tsi at the age of 33.
  7. Evening all. Bought my mk3 Octavia 220ps petrol vrs four months ago now. Before that I had a 09 mk2 face lift. This new one was the indoor display model so despite being second hand it only had 56 miles on the clock when I got my hands on it. It's fairly standard with just the heated front seats added on. Nothing planned for it until out of warranty and maybe then just a remap to keep things exciting. Until then maybe a brisky sticker or two.
  8. I drive an astra estate at work and find it to be gutless and unresponsive. There is no space up front and even less for the rear passengers. I looked at the new mondeo before recently trading in my mk2 Octavia for a mk3. Looks great outside and plenty of space but felt it was a little let down on the build and materials in the cabin. Have had my mk3 for four months now and still love it everytime I get in.
