tomorrow large port intake manifold together with already present new JBS exhaust manifold and 43DD 3" downpipe with 225hp EGT probe will be put on dyno and EGT connected. First I will measure improwement only gained with JBS and 42DD and than if possible with large port AGU intake mani, and final figureas after adjusting all that.

Will post dyno chart.

Latest news.

Tomorrow we did remove N249, N112, SAI, put Forge blanking plate, conected OE EGT probe to the ECU-hard and technicaly demanding job.

We did that all without putting any resistors-picture to come.

I forgot to take with me my phenoloc spacer-transitional one to accomodate new large port intake manifold to my small port head, so we did just measure horsepower gained with simply bolt on new JBS exhaust manifold and 42 draft design 3" deat downpipe, both ceramic coated.

10.7.2010. I had 243hp, and now without any other mods it measured 269,5 hp and 375Nm on K04-001 only 1.3bar, not to say that turbo is still only 1.3bar because of that silly discharge pipe that slips of due to the ring instead of the clip. So I removed that to, bought pipe and tube from AGU engine-older version but better, no ring but clip holding them together.

So I scheduled 8.1.2011. for new dyno tuning together with large port inlet and software adjustment and I hope to see figures arround 280p for my K04-001!!!!!!!!!!!

So regards to all those telling me that 240-250 is the limit for K04-001.

Will post pictures and dynochart to.emoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gifemoticon-0148-yes.gif

Latest news is my new <STRONG><FONT size=5>02J 6 speed gearbox</FONT></STRONG>, some pics to dcome :-) <BR>and double inner measure bearings from A4 that can sustain more of axial pressure than OE ones, they are 75mm outer diameter instead of 74 OE ones. Can be pulled out of a spindle without breaking them.<BR>Gearbox is calculated to shift at 7200rpm and drops only to 6000rpm where I do have most of torque-pulls like hell.<BR>Pics are here:<BR><A href="http://s537.photobucket.com/albums/ff340/davojuri/02J%206%20speed%20close%20ratio%20synchromesh%20gearbox/">http://s537.photobucket.com/albums/ff340/davojuri/02J%206%20speed%20close%20ratio%20synchromesh%20gearbox/</A> <BR><IMG class=bbc_emoticon alt=:D src="http://ww1.briskoda.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif"> <IMG class=bbc_emoticon alt=:D src="http://ww1.briskoda.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif"> <IMG class=bbc_emoticon alt=:D src="http://ww1.briskoda.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif"> <IMG class=bbc_emoticon alt=:D src="http://ww1.briskoda.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif"> <IMG class=bbc_emoticon alt=:D src="http://ww1.briskoda.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif">

Even still in the wrong section here are the speed ratios of my GREAT NEW 02J 6 SPEED GEARBOX:

1. 3.7

2. 2.2

3. 1.6

4. 1.25

5. 1.04

6. 0.87

Final Drive 3.64

First two remained OE for the comfortable daily driving without killing the clutch and the rest ius killing machine.

It is calculated for shifting on 7200rpm and drops only to 6000rpom where I do have 270hp - meaning pulls like hell all the way.
