where are you and what do you need to know

I am in Romford and am a newbie VRS owner... just getting a feel of my car.

Doing alot of miles a week, working.

Always looking for news about common faults etc so I can see / hear the warning signs, prior to any serious problems.

I'm near Romford.

Count me in to any local meets.... ;)

We just need somebody to take charge and get something organised

regarding where to have it... I'll suggest a pub near me called the Rabbits

its in stapleford abbotts with plenty of parking... Cheap and good grub...

Decent pint too. Open fire, low ceilings you know the sort of place....

I think a couple of MG owners clubs meet there from time to time...

Any other suggestions??

Apart from deanno1dad, does anybody else fancy a pint at the Rabbits sometime soon?

Myself and Mrs Grr eat there at least once a month as its dinner for two with a drink for circa £25

The food is served quickly, even when busy and they use local produce when they can.

There is an entry in the good pub guide see below...

If we could get just a few of us together, say six or so then It would be worth a go organising a meet.

We can play show and tell with our Skodas and get some grub and maybe if we can make this a monthly/bi-monthly

thing... Then we could start an Essex Chapter of Briskoda... :giggle:

Chavs of Essex Unite!!!!

ROFL.

its all gone very quiet !!

I'm still here... I check in most days... I think as I said before it needs somebody to get some enthusiasm going with

a few pms to known brisky essex and surrounding area members.... and properly organise a meet....

I'm in Essex - Harlow, not got a skoda yet tho - it's coming in March!

Would definately be up for the odd social get together. Used to own a Focus ST and the local 'scene' (being Essex) was very active. Would be great to have something going on locally, it also makes going to the national showsmore fun if you know some people beforehand! :)
