Hi Guys, i had my octavia mapped by yourselves a little over a year ago now. Just a few issues which have popped up in the last few months. I was led to beleive the CEL for the cat had been mapped out..it wasn't and pops on now and again. I can clear it with a handheld scanner but it will pop back on now and again. It doesn't majorly bother me but i was led to believe it wouldn't pop on at all! also in 2nd gear the car seems to overfuel a bit (black smoke and the occasional pop). Now is it a case of popping down and you tweaking the map? or is it another full day on the rollers at my expense? Im 200 miles away so it's not like it's down the road :(

The SAI and Lambda hadn't been mapped out, that's all sorted now.

I can't see anything that'd effect your fuelling in a specific gear though, there's certainly nothing in the software which would cause that.

I'd suggest datalogging to identify the cause of that particular fault.

ECU is in the post this evening for delivery tomorrow.
