Forge rear strut, easy/quick to remove?

Featured Replies

Once every couple of months I somehow need to accommodate something large and bulky, like a fridge or a 60cm cooker/oven.. I have currently got the briskoda DIY version of the rear strut, it works well by many accounts but it cuts my volume effectively in half when I fold the seats down and use the whole of the rear section.

Was wondering how easy it is to temporarily remove the forge version? As its adjustable and 2 piece? I'm guessing screws can be left in the car, bar can be installed/uninstalled within 10mins?

If that's the case, anyone thinking of selling theirs? Or perhaps a trade with money your way? Lol :D ideally somewhere semi local, otherwise postage is just going to make it little too much hassle for trade.
