Mechatronic coding

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm just about to install a used mechatronic in my 06 Octavia . It has previous been installed in a touran i think.

As i've been told it needs to be coded to the spesific car. does anybody know how to do that, login codes etc.

I have a micro-can, and am familiar with it but no expert.

its a HQL box if that matters.

All help is highly apreciated.

Not sure on the coding but you will need to run through all the basic settings and of course refil the gearbox which requires the correct filling equipment.

allmost done now, so we'll see how it responds when I crank it up. pretty sure it needs som coding towards the specific car but don't know what or why.

Hello Eivind,

Any updates after you replace your mechatronic with a mechatronic unit from a different mode. Did it work? Did you have to do any programming? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
