EGR Delete..... Im so confused

Right I have a BLT so I have the separate ASV which I want to keep so am I thinking I cant have the delete kit? Its been mapped out so it is not working ( I hope) but is it still worth blocking it up from the exhaust, to stop the gassed running up there.

I would ideally like the delete kit so its just one smooth pipe. Is there anyone that make a delete pipe that fits to the ASV?

Ive also read about intake cooling? and deleting gets rid of this?

I dont know :peek:

On an ASZ it's not possible because the thing is part of the same pipe, if the EGR portion comes out, the ASV has to come with it. For the BLT, it's only been a very recent development that people have been able to map out the EGR and not affect anti-shudder (I believe), but I'd be surprised if you couldn't develop a shorter pipe based on an ASZ EGR removal pipe and just put a second flange on the other end so it can bolt in from both the manifold and anti-shudder side.

Speedy_vrs - Would be good if you can confirm? Why no one makes a EGR delete which leaves the ASV in i never know!

Hi

To leave a asv in would cost a lot more and this is prob one of the main reasons, people just don't want to pay for it.

I will look into it for you tho if you wish it's no problem :)

Yeah do it speedy_vrs. I'm after one for my BLT but £75 seems so dear for such a small item haha

No problem, I have the one flange already machined up buddy I will get the other one made up this week, would you guys be interested in a boost gauge take off? So you can push a vacuum hose on?

Sorry for spamming, I thought the asv on the Blt was electronic and was maintained when an egr delete was fitted with the asz having a mechanical asv which was lost with an egr delete?!
