So onto center caps. I had a word with g23 engineering at early edition and to get what I wanted which is these

rayscentercap.jpg

It was going to be.... wait for it.... £400 :o

So new plan ime going for something along these lines

A different shaped nut But RAYS scribed into the top, similar to this

But i will send them some art work over of what i want, just need to design it ;)

But they will still sing to the similar tune of £200.

A lot is happening all at once so it should all come together. Have faith.

The caps are in need of a refurb, just gotta get a colour match, then measure the caps and order new ones, thats it!

The boot is done ;) I will get pics up asap, fits snug as a bug!

I also have a hertz slimline sub and amp that is prime for fitting, just need to select a place

I am just working on getting the exterior done first, then interior.

Things left to do :

  • Get left hand side of the car resprayed and boot
  • Alfa romeo interior, cream/tan
  • Wooden dash trims
  • Wooden steering wheel
  • Gold calipers
  • Mount sub and amp
  • helpers out for more lows
  • Get extra center caps made whilst refurbing others

No particular order, Loads more I am sure

  • 2 weeks later...

Its been a while since an update, so here goes.

Went down to hastings last month to see a man about a dog.

2 weeks later I got my car back whipped the wheels, gave it a good clean.

Picture44.png

I decided to go with Havair in hastings, proper sound bunch of guys and got a show deal on my kit from UD.

I ended up going for an autopilot v2 kit.

images.jpeg

  • Autopilot v2 digital management
  • Airlift bags (firestone),
  • customs struts from gaz
  • 1 400c Viair compressor
  • 3/8 air lines
  • 5 gallon tank

I am so happy with it, just need to sort the stance out now and then onto interior.

Hope fully some of you guys saw it at dubmania :)

Thanks mate! Center caps are also being made as we speak, i am doing the art work for them and then acid etching them. Cant wait to see em done!

Digital management is awesome, its a really quick and easy kit, 8 presets, cruising height, parked height, and tractor stance haha

Another cool feature is 'ride on start'. When you turn your key it will go straight to your preset one, it also has a manual mode to mess with!

'Preset maintain' is a good feature, if you have a slow leak it will keep it topped up the the preset it's on and the lcd display has 512 colours lol

Really happy with it, the controller comes through the pen holder in the cubby box next to the drivers door which is nice and hidden

They had it for 2 weeks! It consisted of plenty of lifts and buses lol They always put 100 miles on the car to test it, they drove it from hastings to petersborough, modified nationals! to the tune of £70 diesel, out of there pocket haha
