After our trip to AMD for the Brisky shoot out it would seem I was down on power. Today I took off the inlet manifold to check the breather pipes beneath. Once manifold was removed it was clear to see the offending breather pipe which had split along it's length. Hard to see from the pic below.

Now replaced with new pipe all is good. Not flat at the top end yippee Boost not escaping anymore. I did however snap the dipstick tube on re assembly. So now need to replace that.

Operation Dipstick !

After snapping my dipstick tube my kind wife ran me to Eurocarparts to purchase a new one.

It was a whole £5.40 so not too bad. And a 10 min job to replace. First remove plastic cover.

Then undo two nuts and pull SAI hose out of the way. Then remove two bolts holding metal plate to inlet manifold.

Then locate dipstick tube and firmly push down until it clicks into home position. Re-assemble stuff removed and job done.

Road trip today with Beryl's chief Pilot. We ventured to Bristol to visit Lloyd55vrs. And to finally get my boot build installed. It sounds amazing the JL audio 8 inch subs certainly have some punch.

Still need to order another Alpine PDX amp and relocate the amps. But I'm amazed at the sound and Lloyds skills. He's a legend !
