And then !!! It was time to replace all suspension bushes with a superpro kit supplied by Rob at W8 performance. The fitting was entrusted to my good friend Tony Gilham at his amazing vehicle servicing and Team HARD race car preparation centre in Dartford. His garage is absolutely spotless. All bushes were replaced the difference is awesome the chassis feels much tighter and more positive.

And then ! A full Milltek turbo back exhaust including sports cat was fitted. The original downpipe being very restrictive seemed to strangle the engine. Turbo spool up is enhanced and seems more willing to rev. This is a non resonated system and is really quiet with a nice burble on tick over. But with a bit more rasp when the loud pedal is pushed floorward. Again the boys at Tony Gilham Ltd fitted the exhaust which was supplied by Rob at W8 Performance.

Aaaaaaand Theeen !! Time to get rid of the arch gap. A quick call to Rob at W8 performance and some shiny KW V3 coilovers were on their way. Tony Gilham ltd again did the fitting and set up for me. Resulting in a sensible drop but not slammed. The ride and handling is outstanding.

Along with a SMF G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch kit.The clutch pedal is now feather light. And the Wavetrac diff is just Wow ! It just pulls you into the bends it's now so sure footed. Clutch and Flywheel were fitted by Tony Gilham ltd who also provided the Wavetrac diff. However Diff was installed here.

And then while searching on Egay one evening. I found these.

And once fitted looked like this.

An ECS V2 front brake conversion complete with Porsche Boxster 4 pot calipers. Looked awesome but initial drive found the discs had been warped. Not Good ! So spoke to ECS in the states who said they could do me a re-ring if I send them my rotors and bells. The cost 500 dollars + shipping ouch ! So after speaking to Rob at W8 performance he said to try a guy on the UKMKiV forum called Dave Brown. I found Dave and fired over an email which he replied to immediately. Top bloke. He runs a company called Vagbremtechnic and suggested that he sent me his Carriers and Ferrodo DS2500 pad set which would enable me to use standard octy VRS 312 discs.

The stuff arrived from Vagbremtechnic the very next day and now looks like this.

Not as pretty as the ECS drilled and groved rotors. But stopping power and feel is phenomenal and future proofed in the fact that parts are off the shelf available in the UK.

Also I contacted the guy who sold me the ECS kit from Egay and he was happy to refund me the cost to put right the wobbly warped discs. So all good in the end.
