hi i'm new to this but i was just wondering as i've been reading loads of conflicting threads on here about fitting hid kit. i also have a 2005 skoda superb 1.9 pd tdi 130 chipped decat pipe and straight through middle . but on to the hid kit i have ordered error free 1's but do i have to get the ecu recoded to stop a surge to the wiper motor or do i just plug and play. if you could help it would be much appreciated as i have read that you fitted 1 but didn't mention anything about using vcds to code them in.

Hi!I have not done anything else then cut the back of the plastic cover of the light, and fit the new kit!Is quite simple, just you have to make sure, when you fit them, fit them properly,(position, size of cut etc),cos you going to have problems with moist in the lamp!No ecu need recoded!:)

When i have fitted the screens,i have discovered i have some water problems under my carpet!I did not know how common this problem is,and thanks to this site,i have find out, what can be the reason, and it was!So yesterday i have removed the pollen filter, and re-sealed under the plastic stuff, cos the original seal was so bad,i could tell the water is running trough there! So here is a couple of pictures what i have done, and tomorrow i will try to dry the car out,and fix the cables to have all my door puddle lights etc back in work, cos i have them all converted in to led,and cant wait to fix them :-)

I have used no more nails, for external use!You will not have to remove it again from ther,if u need to get to the fan,is from the inside anyway!Today i have removed the front seat and the bottom of the rear seat to lift the carpet up!I started to dry the carpet and the floor as well, did not put seats back, cos i will carry on tomorrow:-) is not to wet,but it was wet enough to have a few wires corroded!Just before the rear seat you have about 10 red wires connected together! As i touched them, the end just came off,it was so corroded! So i have reconnected all of them, plus cleaned the earth wire positioned on the front, and voila, all my puddle lights are working, boot light and glow box light are working, and my mirror lights are working as well!So i have put the led-s in,once i have bought them a few weeks ago!Im so happy! Please find a few pictures attached again,to have some idea what im talking about :-)
