How do you change rear passenger interior light bulb on 2012 Octavia Estate?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm new to Briskoda but am a fully-fledged serial Skoda owner, now on my second Octavia (Estate this time) - great cars, hard to beat for value!

I want to change the bulb on the rear passenger interior light but there isn't any guidance in the manual other than "get the dealer to do it" (costly, embarrassing)! It's not obvious as to how to get at the bulb, however, and the last thing I want is to damage the unit with misplaced enthusiasm. Can anyone give me any pointers for how to do this?

Thanks.

The clear lens just comes off, if you put your key in from the front it should pop out enough for you to pull it.
