Alloy wheel help.

Featured Replies

I have found some other 17" wheels In 5x112 so I will need spaced adaptors, what is the best ET to go for as they range from 15-42?

What size spaced adaptors would I also need for them to sit nice?

Iv searched but I'm crap with all this ET lingo lol

So I do apologise in advance.

Buy the alloys in the highest et possible so 42

Then probably 20mm adaptors

Nobody else got any advice?

Yer et42 sounds good with 20 spacers like jase said to take it to et22. But to know how the will sit we need to know the width aswell and do you want a flush fit or some poke?

A little poke but not tooooo extreme, iv emailed the seller to find put the width Joe, cheers for your input ;-)

They do a 7.5 and a 8.5 size rim.

As said et42 with 20mm adapters.. 7.5 up front and 8.5 at the rear.. 195/40 tyres up front + 205/40 tyres at the rear..

That would make pretty much the same fitment as my bbs rc041/042 17" splits. Will be flush at the front with a tiny bit of poke at the rear :)

Not if they are good quality ones and fitted right.

I'm going to be running Brand new FK adaptors.

I'm going to be running Brand new FK adaptors.

There wont be any wheel wobble with FKs but dont use an air gun to remove or fit the wheel bolts to the adapters because the tread in the adapters is Ally and can strip.. tighten by hand then torque to 120nm everytime u fit them..

If u can stretch to H&R adapters they have steel thread inserts so are alot better in terms of the threads.. but saying that my porsche adapters are FK and iv had no problems :)
