I'm very close to getting a 105 PS SE.... Just waiting for the guy at Lookers to phone me back about something, although slightly surprising that he's not phoned me back since 9.30 am considering how keen he & his manager were to get me to buy the car "on the day" on Saturday!

I'll keep everyone posted, I may yet get cold feet and completely change my mind! :giggle:

Nice stuff, the club is growing! So did you go for their ridiculously cheap pre-reg ones they have on at the moment?

Come on, what did you order? :D

Good job :)

Back from holiday and been out Sunday loads in mine, dog to forest for long walk, wife shopping, very flexible car.

What did you get :)

Yep! Got a good deal part ex on my Fabia too!

13 plate pre reg SE (pre spec upgrade), 1.2 TSI 105 PS in black magic. Pick up date to be arranged.

Can't wait :-)

Cool. Just after I bought mine I saw these on Auto Trader, and the spec said it had all the "new" SE bits on but I think someone else confirmed that this is not right in another post.

Think it was me, I went out to have a look + test drive on Saturday.

I've been wanting to change my Fabia for ages and the figures all made sense to me so I've taken the plunge :-) (I bought the Fabia Jan '10 with a view to only keeping it 12 months.... 3+ years and 55k miles later... :giggle: )

Oh my frackin God, at last, you got one! :mmm: I could cry! Cool.

My wait is utterly agonising. Stillll waiting for a build week and I'm starting to get on the salesman's nerves methinks asking if he's got a build week.

Still - champaggnnnnne, champagne for everywan!

Lol! Everyone in work was most amused today, I've been obsessing about changing my car for two years, they were starting to think I would never do it!

There's the little matter of insurance and collection date to sort out now, I don't get my 4 years NCB until 16th May so the worst case scenario is I drive it away under the complimentary insurance and then get a temp insurance cover arranged while I wait for my actual premium to kick in.

To be fair, that isn't such a terrible situation!

Nice one! Better than my 1 years no claims :giggle:

Good thing is, I'll (theoretically) be going from £120pm, to £60pm insurance.

I only work so I can run a car, and I need a car to get to work, it's silly.

Ouch! Dare I ask?

I'm hoping I can get mine in time for the British superbikes weekend at oulton park, me and mates go every year and it's a fun drive out there through Delamere forest from Runcorn ;-)

Well, I passed my car test in 2011 at 18 years of age (can't use motorcycle no claims on car policies for some reason :< ) Then I bought my first Felly, it was a shed - the cam belt snapped, so I cancelled the insurance policy.

The next year, I was at university. Because I'm of pauper stock, the university themselves gave me a grant of like £600, so I bought my second (diesel) Felicia for £400, the spare £200 I set aside to have the cam belt changed (literally the day after I bought it as it happens  ).

I fancied the 1.6 again 'cause the diesel was a nice engine, but painfully slow. This is where I got my years no claims.

So, I bought a Laurin & Klement, sold the diesel early this month, and here I am now, having bought a Rapid seemingly for the sheer hell of it.

Seems like it. I just hope I can afford the repayments as I'm struggling to make £500 a month out of work at the minute!

LOL I know what you feel like. I have bought a brand new car myself although I paid in cash. Literally 2 weeks later they gave me my notice...I'm being made redundant
