Is Sony Xplod audio equipment any good ? subs amps speakers etc .... there seems to be a very mixed opinion from what ive read so far ?

That's what I used to run in the pick up, head unit & speakers (13cm door). Must say not a bad combo with good quality sound definition + reasonable bass response. However after a few years use the HU stopped receiving CD's & then replaced with Pioneer/Bass Face speaker arrangement. The best aspect of the new HU is the USB port, meaning I play directly off the memory stick & no more fiddling around with CD's!!

I'd say 7/10 for the Xplod set up but it ideally needed a component speaker set up.
