Excuse my ignorance but why must John Y have to wait 2 weeks to collect his new car when it's sitting at the dealers complete with number plates ? I understand it will require a PDI etc, but two whole weeks !

I'm curious because no doubt I'll have to wait when / if my ordered car arrives in October.

If you notice the Number plate it is a 63. Therefore not legal until the 1st of September. That is my choice not the dealers. Hope this clears it up.

Ordered 2L TDI manual ES 4x4 in steel grey this week. Build week also this week! Delivery about 3 to 4 weeks I am told. Dealer pre ordered as a demo, but I was offered it because I needed a quick delivery!
