Going low...

Featured Replies

I am extremely close to ordering coilovers, however I just want to check if there is anything else I need? Like droplinks etc?

Thanks

if going very low yes you will need shortened drop links ..... you can buy adjustable ones but im sure mondeo ones fit ?? could be wrong ?

What do you call very low lol? Lowered my how much ? :) Also, do I need bumpstops, or will they come with the coilovers?

Depends on the coilovers you get,my weitecs went all the way down with standard droplinks, but thats because the manufacturer had moved the drop link mount up the strut leg to compensate

The fronts shocks will have bumpstops in them already at the top . . The backs will just need trimming a bit maby (I never did n mine was fine running very low)

As above, most coilover kits have moved the drop link mount to accommodate standard links, however if you are buying JOM coilovers (which i wouldn't recommend if you can afford better ones) you will need shorter links as they haven't moved the mounting point for them
