Hi when I start the car up in the morning the other day it was like shaking bad in stationary mode then when moved it is fine. Same thing happend this evening any idea what it could be

cold start misfire? has it had the software update?

Cold start missfire is likely. Mines does it fairly often.

Good way to check it to open the front door, start car standing outside and go around to the back of the car while its running from cold/first thing in the morning.

You'll hear the missfire from the exhaust clear as day

Ok guys so is it worth putting it in the garage for the misfire issue. And when I call will I say want a system update on it.

Yes, you should mention it to the dealer for remedial action. Lots of unburned fuel going into the cat is not good even if it only lasts for a very brief period. You can ask about any updates that may be required and they will check to see what's available and what your car has already got loaded.

yep, definitely get it to dealer as many of the misfires are due to issues with plugs or coil packs which on occasions (not every time) seem to be a precursor of something worse

do a search for misfire or spark plugs on forum
